Veteran linebacker Mark Herzlich, who has led the Giants in special teams snaps played in each of the last four seasons, will return for a seventh year with the team, James Kratch of the Newark Star-Ledger
Herzlich appeared in 14 games last season for the Giants, missing two due to a concussion. Despite the missed time, he still managed to lead the team in special teams snaps. Herzlich logged a team-high 397 snaps on special teams, but he failed to register a single tackle according to NFL stats.
Herzlich played just 14 linebacker snaps, but he was part of the Giants' key Week 6 goalline stand in a 27-23 win over the Ravens at MetLife Stadium. Herzlich has appeared in 88 games over six seasons in his career with 18 starts.Don't forget to follow us on Twitter at http://twitter.com/theredzoneorg
