If Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller is right about his boast that the team will "kick ass" on Thursday Night Football against the Arizona Cardinals, they will have to do it shoert-handed as five Broncos have been declared out for Week 7 according to Josh Alper of Pro Football

That includes a pair of starting offensive linemen.   Neither one is a surprise as left guard Ronald Leary is out for the rest of the season after tearing his Achilles and right tackle Jared Veldheer has missed the last two games with a knee injury.  It is possible that Leary will be placed on injured reserve and a healthy player will replace him on the roster before Thursday night.

The Broncos have also ruled out linebacker Shane Ray, safety Dymonte Thomas, and cornerback Adam Jones.  Ray suffered a left high ankle sprain in last week's loss to the Los Angeles Rams.  The 2015 first-round pick out of the University of Missouri has been demoted to part-time status in favor of rookie sensation Bradley Chubb and is in the last year of his rookie deal.  Thomas suffered a chest injury against the Rams while veteran corner Jones missed the Rams game due to a thigh injury.
