Bucs QB Jameis Winston reportedly has been fined $12,154 for his role in a sideline altercation against the Saints that led to WR Mike Evans being suspended for Sunday’s game against the Jets, Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

The fine, reported by ESPN, matches the NFL’s schedule for a first offense for unsportsmanlike conduct against an opponent.

Winston was out of the game and on the sideline in the second half Sunday because of his right shoulder injury. He walked onto the field during a dead-ball in the third quarter and poked Saints CB Marshon Lattimore in the back of the helmet, which led to Lattimore shoving Winston and Evans blindsiding Lattimore with a hit from behind.

Winston, who is sitting out the next two games to allow his shoulder to heal, apologized for his actions Wednesday and said a fine was "probably" coming. The league suspended Evans on Monday.
