The Las Vegas Raiders have been in the market for a veteran offensive guard for a while now, especially with Greg Van Roten not under contract. The right guard spot was arguably the biggest weakness on the offensive line, but they addressed that need on Monday, Marcus Mosher of USA Today's Raiders Wire reports.

According to Adam Caplan of Pro Football Network, the Raiders have signed veteran offensive lineman Cody Whitehair to a one-year deal that could max out at $3 million.

Whitehair was a former second-round pick of the Chicago Bears and he spent the first four years of his career at center. But over the last five seasons, he’s made the transition to left guard and has played well.
