The Buffalo Bills and Jordan Poyer contract talks roll on.

The All-Pro safety made his feelings known this spring: He wants an extension from the team, Nick Wojton of USA Today's Bills Wire reports.

Letting his actions speak, Poyer did not attend voluntary practices, however, once mandatory minicamp camp did, Poyer held up his end of the bargain and showed up.

Both sides have indicated they want him to remain in Buffalo. Despite that, some time has rolled on and still no deal.

At least things still seem to be on good terms as of now after the latest update Poyer gave on his feelings.

Poyer appeared on the Inside The Garage Podcast earlier this week. His comments strongly indicated exactly how he felt.

“I can’t think of a better situation for me to be in than Buffalo right now,” Poyer said.

“We got the best damn quarterback in this league so sky is the limit for this team, obviously a lot of expectations of our football team but we’ve got to keep things real–We come into work every day and just work, that’s what we do,” Poyer said.

During OTAs while Poyer was not around, Buffalo general manager Brandon Beane expressed his desires with Poyer. He did not beat around the bush.

“I want Jordan here. I’m not looking for anything different than that. It’s just business gets in the way sometimes, and I respect that,” Beane said.
