Veteran center Daniel Kilgore announced his retirement after ten seasons in the NFL on his Twitter feed Monday.

Originally a fifth-round pick out of Appalachian State by the San Francisco 49ers in 2011, Kilgore spent seven seasons with the Niners before going to the Miami Dolphins for the 2018 and 2019 seasons.  The Dolphins chose not to pick up his option for 2020.  Kilgore spent the last season of his career with the Kansas City Chiefs, playing in seven regular season games and appearing in last year's Super Bowl loss to the Bucs in Tampa Bay.  Now 33 years old, Kilgore has struggled with injuries the past few years, which reduced him to a rotational role.
