Former Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw has signed a one-year deal with the Indianapolis Colts according to a tweet by Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Provided his balky knees are healthy, this is potentially an awesome signing for the Colts.  The Colts' running back stable of Vick Ballard, Donald Brown, and Delone Carter was possibly the least impressive in the entire NFL.  Bradsahaw is a complete and dominating back when healthy and the lack of interest in him during free agency has been perplexing.  He can contribute on third downs, execute near the goal-line and stop. oncoming rushers in pass protection.   His injury history will likely keep him from being an every-down back but he should easily lead the Colts in carries.
