Several days after it was reported that Broncos defensive coordinator Dennis Allen was selected as the Raiders new head coach, the Raiders have announced it on their website. 

Allen agreed to a four-year deal with the team.

The Raiders announcement consists of a picture of Allen and the followibng wording: The Oakland Raiders will introduce Head Coach Dennis Allen on Monday, January 30, 2012 at noon.

No other information was dispensed about Allen such as his bio or length of contract or any quotes from general manager Reggie McKenzie. 

Somethings just never change.
