Baker Mayfield admitted that losing out to Saquon Barkley for NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year is motivation for him, and that he's eager to face Tom Brady next year, especially after sharing a scene in the NFL 100 Super Bowl commercial, Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

After being named Professional Athlete of the Year at the 19th Greater Cleveland Sport Awards ceremony Thursday night at the Renaissance Hotel  downtown, Mayfield addressed the loss.

"Yeah, I'll use it as motivation,'' Mayfield said. "But the more important thing is winning football games. Yeah, it's more frustrating than anything because Saquon, that's my guy and he'll hold it over my head forever. But you know what, I'll use that as motivation and I'll be better in the long run."

The Browns will travel to New England next season to face the  Super Bowl champions.

"Yeah, we have them on the schedule,'' he said. "That will be awesome, to play against somebody that's been playing for so long at such a consistent level. That's one of those challenges that you try and rise up to each week, and that will be fun.''
